Visitor & vendor Wi-Fi for enterprises

Stop handing out the Wi-Fi password.

Every visitor, vendor and contractor gets their own SMS-verified login — time-boxed, rate-limited, logged against a real mobile number, and nowhere near your corporate network.

Defaults we deploy unless your policy says otherwise. A full working day for a visitor, every value configurable.

How it works

Four steps, about thirty seconds

No app, no reception desk queue, no one writing a password on a whiteboard. The portal appears by itself on iPhone, Android and Windows.

STEP 1

Connect

Guest joins your visitor SSID. Their device detects the portal and opens it.

STEP 2

Enter mobile

Your branded page asks for a mobile number and acceptance of your usage policy.

STEP 3

Receive OTP

A one-time password arrives by SMS from your registered sender ID.

STEP 4

Online

Access granted for the day, rate-limited, and logged against the verified number.

Why this replaces what you have

The shared password is the problem

Everyone who ever visited still knows it

  • A shared key cannot be revoked for one person — only for everybody, by changing it
  • No record of who was on the network, or when
  • Ex-employees, former vendors and one-day visitors all retain access indefinitely

Contractors nowhere near your LAN

  • Guests land on an isolated VLAN with no route to file servers, ERP, cameras or printers
  • Firewall blocks guest traffic to every internal subnet by default
  • An infected visitor laptop cannot reach anything that matters

Guests stop eating your bandwidth

  • Per-login caps keep video calls and business apps responsive
  • Sessions expire at end of day rather than lingering
  • Caps and durations differ by site if you need them to

Attribution when someone asks

  • Every session ties to an SMS-verified mobile number
  • NAT translations logged with timestamps, so a port maps back to a device months later
  • Retention set to your legal advice — 365 days by default
Coverage

Where it usually goes in

Most sites start at reception and meeting rooms, where outsiders actually connect, then extend across the campus. One policy covers every location.

Reception & visitor lounge

Where outsiders connect first, and where the password currently gets read aloud.

Meeting & conference rooms

Clients and consultants who need connectivity for an hour, not permanent access.

Hot desks & shared floors

Contractors and visiting staff who sit with you for a week and shouldn't be on the LAN.

Warehouse & shop floor

Drivers, auditors and service engineers who need connectivity but no internal access.

Retail & customer areas

Free Wi-Fi as a footfall draw, with the verified number as a marketing opt-in.

Cafeteria & breakout

Where staff personal devices pile on. Keeps them off the corporate SSID entirely.

Before we begin

What we'll need from you

Nothing here is unusual, but a few items have lead times — DLT registration in particular can take a couple of weeks, so it's worth starting early. If you're unsure about any of it, say so in the form and we'll work it out together.

Network hardware Required

  • A MikroTik router running RouterOS 7 (we can advise on a model)
  • Access points that support 802.1Q VLAN tagging
  • A free switch port for the guest trunk at each site

Connectivity Required

  • An internet uplink with at least one static public IP
  • Bandwidth you're willing to allocate to guests
  • A spare private subnet for the guest VLAN

Domain & DNS Required

  • A domain you control, for the portal address
  • Ability to add DNS records — needed for the TLS certificate

SMS & DLT Required in India

  • DLT registration with your entity ID
  • A six-character sender ID (e.g. ACMECO)
  • An SMS gateway account with credit
  • An approved OTP message template

Policy decisions We can advise

  • Devices per guest, session length, bandwidth cap
  • How long logs must be retained
  • Whether long-term contractors get extended or recurring access

Branding & content We can advise

  • Logo file and preferred colours
  • Welcome text for the login page
  • Your acceptable-use policy and privacy notice
